What a great concept!  Visit the 2nd annual Farm to Fork event at Phil Hardberger Park on Saturday, September 29.  The event’s webpage says, “This family and pet friendly event will celebrate and highlight the dairy farmland roots of Phil Hardberger Park. Local chefs will prepare tapas-style small entrees with produce grown within 100 miles of the park. Come meet owners and operators of local farms, vineyards and microbreweries who are eager to share their knowledge of sustainable food and farming practices and samples of their tasty products!”

Not only is the event pet friendly and at a beautiful park, it’s all about bringing local food to San Antonio.  Yay for that!  Tickets are $40 and wine and beer wristbands an additional $5. Check out the website — and let me know if you are going to be there!
